Trailer Parts, Repairs, & Services
When your trailer works hard, it needs a shop that works just as hard. At Treasure Valley Trailers, our certified techs handle everything from routine maintenance to full repairs and custom upgrades—so you can tow with confidence and keep downtime to a minimum. We stock popular parts, turn jobs quickly, and make scheduling easy online or by phone. Ask about our monthly service promos and parts savings when you book.
Why Choose Us
- Full service for brakes, axles, suspension, tires, lights/electrical, and general repairs (with in-stock parts for most jobs).
- Fast response and simple booking—send a request anytime; we return service inquiries within one business day.
- Transparent inspection-led approach: we identify safety and compliance issues before they become roadside problems.
Trailer Brakes
Stopping power is non-negotiable. We diagnose and service electric and hydraulic systems, replace shoes/pads, magnets and calipers, pack and replace bearings and seals, adjust brakes, and set proper brake controller gain. If you’re feeling pull, fade, overheating hubs, or uneven wear, we’ll locate the root cause—often a combination of worn friction material, out-of-round drums/rotors, or bearing play. We stock common assemblies and hardware so most repairs are same-day or next-day.
Trailer Tires
Tires carry the load and protect your cargo. We size, mount, and balance ST tires, check load ratings, set correct cold pressures, and torque lugs to spec. Expect a quick tread/wear evaluation, valve stem checks, and replacement recommendations based on your use case (highway miles, mixed terrain, or frequent loads). If you’re seeing cupping, inside-edge wear, or repeated blowouts, we’ll inspect alignment and suspension, too.
Trailer Axles
From routine service to full replacements, our team handles axle inspections, spindle/hub work, bearing/seal service, and alignment checks that reduce tire scrub and heat. If your trailer wanders, rides harsh, or eats tires, axle geometry may be out of spec or bushings may be worn. We’ll recommend the right fix—service, alignment correction, or upgrade—and quote options clearly before we turn a wrench.
Trailer Repair
Think of us as your one-stop trailer shop. We handle couplers and jacks, floors and decking, frames and crossmembers, doors and latches, cargo tie-downs, interior repairs, and hardware replacements. Every repair begins with a safety-first look at lights, brakes, suspension, tires/wheels, and structure—so your trailer leaves better than it arrived.
Trailer Suspension
Ride quality and load control depend on healthy suspension. We service leaf springs, equalizers, hangers, bushings, U-bolts, torsion arms, and shackles; we also correct sag, squeaks, or bounce that can lead to cargo damage and component wear. For heavy users, we can recommend upgrade paths (heavy-duty spring packs, wet-bolt kits, or torsion conversions) based on duty cycle and weight.
Trailer Lights & Electrical
Electrical gremlins are no match for a clean diagnostic. We troubleshoot and repair 7-way/4-way connections, grounds, breakaway kits, battery charging circuits, marker and tail lamps, and full harnesses. Corrosion and damaged wiring are common culprits; we use sealed connectors and proper routing to keep water and abrasion out. Upgrade to LED lighting for better visibility and fewer bulb failures.

Helpful tips (from our techs)
- Grease and bearings: repack on a mileage or seasonal cadence—especially before long tows or heavy loads.
- Torque matters: re-torque wheels after new tires or wheel service to prevent stud stretch or wheel loss.
- Stay bright: corrosion at grounds causes most light issues; sealed connectors and proper strain relief prevent repeat failures.
- Think total system: uneven brake wear or tire wear often points to suspension/axle alignment—addressing root cause saves money long-term.
